Ethnopharmacology
Turmeric is a Ginger family (Zingiberaceae) with underground rhizomes. The inner flesh of the rhizome is yellow to dark orange colors with a unique fragrance. Turmeric is one of the most common Thai herbs that is used as medicinal herb or as a seasoning spice in food uses such as cooking, coloring and flavoring food, especially in southern Thai cuisines.
Curcuminoids are the active yellow compounds obtained from the rhizome of turmeric that were discovered around two centuries ago. There is a lot of research on Curcuminoids and has been used enormously in the form of crude drugs, herbal extracts or isolated compounds.

Problem of Curcuminoids
Naturally, Curcuminoids are soluble in organic solvents such as Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO),
Acetone and Ethanol but poorly soluble in water.
AQUACUMIN is the new innovation for the Curcuminoids that well soluble in water about 90%
It is the new solution of using Curcuminoids in food, drink, cosmetics and supplement.
